At KPS, we regard the Library / Media Centre as the focal point of the learning experience, providing children and staff with information and reading materials, as well as teaching and learning resources. We have a well-stocked library with approximately 30,000 books in total. Through the use of exciting displays, children are encouraged to enjoy reading for pleasure
This is the second newest building located just at the main entrance of the main primary section. It was also completed in late 2014. It is a multipurpose hall. It serves as a main hall for school assemblies and other school occasions. It also serves the community for social gatherings.
Our spacious and modern computer lab ensures a comfortable learning environment for students to polish their computer skills; something that gives them a competitive edge over their peers. The lab is overseen by a skilled full-time computer teacher who is on hand to guide the students teaching them key computer skills.
Due to the busy schedule of most parents and the traffic jam in the city coupled with the risks children under go as they move to and from home in the quest to purse education; The management of Kigali parents' school made a tripartite agreement with parents and transporters to streamline transportation of children. We have buses that commute to different parts of Kigali city

Children who are unwell at school or suffer minor injuries are treated by a qualified full-time nurse in the school Sick Bay. The sickbay is fully stocked with the necessary drugs and first aid equipment to ensure that all emergencies are dealt with in the best possible way at the school. Parents are informed of any serious injury and are contacted if a doctor or hospital visit is advised.
The school has a well equipped kitchen, manned by well trained staff that serves breakfast and lunch meals to the pupils. The school serves a lunch meal for students who don’t get food from home. However students are allowed to pack their own lunch if they can but the school advises that the food is packed properly so that the student doesn't consume spoiled food.
